Being of a grain of sand...

Poem Artwork

Small in a world of expanding land,

Waters taken, removed & expelled,

Covered up & unable to be seen,

Is the part of Nature where we all have been…

Footprints to follow in the sand,

Some with shoes others with bare feet,

To climb sand dunes can be a feat,

Most though don’t allow climbing,

And in summer you wouldn’t want too,

As the sand is quite hot in summers heat…

So I am a small grain of sand,

In this big old world of man,

I try to be a better human,

Than most men, though it is hard,

Guess I can just be a better bard…

You can only be yourself and you are certainly a better bard than most. I like your sandbox. Patrick

We are all but grains of sand. You are getting better all the time.

And if you look to the sea...if you look to the vastness of the night sky...then true this be...we are as small and finite as a grain of sand, but even in this, we are still known by HE!

well done sir

We are all just small grains of earthly sand,
Mere specks in the vast, mysterious universe;
So cheer up, my brother, and keep on keepin on,
We must strive to be better mortals, not worse.

i think of you as a caring person and know you try hard each day to accomplish things that need to be done. Great post and great photo.

Frustrating as it may seem at times, we must continue to try even if we are but a grain of sand in the scheme of life...

Be always safe,

None are worthy. The best we can do is try. Well said, Ed.
