The title does say it all,

So, do so before you take a fall,

Listen to the gulls call,

Or in mid-life, as in mid-air, you could stall…

The philosopher tells a great deal,

Hopefully, as such, any advice I do not unknowingly steal,

If so I do not mean it meanly, just it’s the way I feel,

So if I do, please don’t from me run or reel…

Live life without pretending,

Love life without depending,

All the while during life we are slowly ascending,

Towards both enlightenment & the place of the creator,

These two short bits of advice I am to you recommending…
