Seems we speak too soon,

Not for us all is this a boon,

We don’t as well seem to anymore listen,

Though in Gods image we hope to be christened…

To speak today without being offensive,

Is to be politically correct but not defensive,

I find for myself that this all makes me kind of apprehensive,

So I tend to give emphasis, as well as I can, intensive…

I sometimes, even to myself, don’t make sense,

I am sorry if sometimes I may seem quite dense,

Told sometimes I have a lack of commonsense,

Would like to know what you do think herein,

So please don’t leave me hanging or in suspense…
