More on humor or the lack thereof…

Got to get these feelings out,
Or never will I ever be again funny,
My brain is getting to be like my favorite breakfast,
Eggs overeasy & all kinds of runny...

Poem Artwork

True my humor seems to have waned,

Possibly from my brain it has drained,

But should I really be in anyway worried,

For within my humor has been through a lifetime ingrained…

What seems funny to me,

Could invoke tears from someone else,

Now tears of laughter are really great,

But tis hard to see them coming from,

That which I have written of late…

When Rufuz was still around,

Before he had to go back to the pound,

I found it much easier to write of his antics,

And they would produce a smile on the most serious of frowns…

So please dear friends with me bear,

That humor is still within me somewhere,

One day soon, I hope, I will write of something,

That will of your funny bone snare…

Ed, funny is nice.... It's entertaining and enjoyable,,,, but you can be upbeat without being funny. And generally,,,, when you're upbeat,,, you find more humor in things. Hang in there buddy, stay upbeat, you'll find your funny again. I guarantee it!!!
