If there be anyone to blame for a write such as this, let it be me & my nightmares...

When all we had to worry about was atomic, When the reds got the bomb & the US shuddered, When we were taught to hide under our school desk, Like that would stop the onslaught of a nuclear fire storm, A time when prayers were not only in schools uttered, But round the globe in every country all faiths prayed, Due to our global fear of self-annihilation, so much so Kafkaesque… Now we seem to still worry & stress, The world is coming to an end in 2012, Mans hearts will towards the end grow cold, None of our young will likely see what its like to grow old… What will be the worlds final destruction, Will it be an asteroid crashing into our small blue planet, Will it be earthquakes & tsunami’s & volcanic eruptions, Will it be technological or man made devastation, Or will we merely leave this good life with but a whimper, A small cry so that all the heavens may bear witness, To our, from this world, permanent abdication… © e ~ 4/25/11

Mans hearts will towards the end, grow cold

If that is true as the Bible predicts, I don't believe we have much time left, at all. Man's heart very sadly seems to now grow colder by the day.

It's a dogs eat dogs world. The bigger dogs eat the smaller dogs. It doesn't matter how we fight our wars, the world can be gone in amatte of seconds. Are we all living in borrowed time?

You know Ed, I never really worried about the end of the world. I believe that we have what we have and need to make the most of each day as if it is our last...so if 2012 is doomsday year....so be it.

Ed, you and the world at large are as sane as can be
expected with those nuts going around predicting dooms day
in 2012. My crystal says it ain't likely to happen until
(a) the cows come home, or (b) the Chicago Cubs win the
