We meet with new folks on & off,

To them we may of our hats doff,

Then they go away, after a small cough,

But still we follow, even though we’ve reached a temporary trough…

Maybe I am naïve, or maybe I am not thinking right,

But I still, no matter how shallow the other might,

Wish to hear of them and allow them not from my sight…

So if you should run across a person such as this,

Don’t get all upset or otherwise get pissed,

Just allow them their idiosyncrasies, moving on,

What harm does it do to you; they may be the ones,

That are going to suffer the loss when you make,

That one big, that they will miss, homerun…
