I thoroughly LOVE to drink...

Poem Artwork

I could drink my lunch through the day all,

Surely wouldn’t bother me at all,

Such a lush I could be,

But in the end drinking isn’t free…

Twenty some years since last I did booze,

Used to make me so well at night snooze,

But what it did to me, what did I lose,

Now it’s other things I drink & abuse…

Milk, diet soda, & water,

I drink them all to excess,

They don’t to my internals slaughter,

So of the above I do drink,

But never do I feel from it depressed…

Good for you - I think I'll have a shot of Wild Turkey and a Moosehead Beer in your honor today.

PS: Never did get that case of bourbon you promised me and Ma for Christmas.

YOU'VE COME A LONG WAYS, ED...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! BUT DO KEEP IN MIND THAT THE EXCESSIVE CONSUMPTION OF 'ANYTHING' IS NOT GOOD, AND I KNOW, WITH GOD'S HELP, WE CAN DO WHATEVER WE SET YOUR MIND TO DO. SO,CONGRATULATIONS ON WHAT YOU'VE CONQUERED AND ON WHAT 'YOU WILL' CONQUER IN THE FUTURE. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND MUCH FAITH TO YOU...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Somebody has to support the brewing industry so I volunteered. The perks are pretty good, always feel perky after a few. No depression but sometimes my head hurts. Patrick

Good rule of thumb for the drinking here, Ed. I'm sure you're reaping the benefits... my nose and red wine are sworn enemies but, fool that I am, I have sided with the Rioja and not my poor face!! Will I regret it? Absolutely yes... next week or the week after that for certain sure... Then, of course, tis too late and the mirror never lies... Good on you! xx

It has been a bit longer than that since I've drank. A little over a year ago I started drinking one glass 10.5oz of cheap California burgundy to help me sleep. It works . . .
