Poem Artwork

When we speak of heaven,

We point towards the sky,

Up in the clouds it’s supposed to exist,

But to be honest I don’t think that’s true ,

You ask me the question why…?

Personally I have to believe,

That all those stars, the points of light in the night sky,

Are where we go when this life we depart,

Each one is another passed soul,

So many there are this has to have some grounds,

A lot can be found on a spacial chart…

So when to the heavens we do speak,

Remember this lesson I herein do teach,

Every star up there does have a name,

Every constellation surely does the same,

For each there is a soul that has there arrived,

Not sure however where this was for me derived…

Haha! I'm not sure either, Ed, but your theory bears as much realism as anything I've heard yet.

If you're right,
When I do depart,
I wanna go to Sirius,
The legendary Dog Star.
