...I know not what I write, for demons do block my sight...

Poem Artwork

That hast taken over my id

Send them to the outer reaches

Of hell to live

Make them to become not of me

Make me to become please free

End this life of non-grandeur

I don’t want death, just change

Take from me these demonic creatures

With faces free of features

Remove them from my sight

Relieve me of their fright

Take them away oh Calgon of bubble baths

I need not to be attacked by their wrath

It is more English in learning than math

End please this constant on my id attack

Cast out the demons

From me this seaman

For I find I need to be medicated

Or is it dedicated, I know not

Maybe I just need to smoke more pot…

Go to the airport. Walk up to a TSA agent. He will ask you for your ID. You can tell him that it has been stolen by demons. Then you'll get a nice vacation;-)Patrick

Sounds like you need a change of venue–and I don't mean a mind swap. What I'm writing about is trying out a new profession like, commercial fishing. No need to be a truck driver on your life, when there are other opportunities out there–say, like going to a writing class at a local college in the evening.

OH my lol, I suppose if that works. Truly smiling here. Thank you for the joy you create in your poetry!

You are pure joy :)

Maybe I'll roll up a doobie and soak in a Calgon bath myself!! If it helps to get rid of those id attacking demons, let me know!!

Any ol excuse will do, but these few lines seem to be extremely lucid.

It would be my guess that the writing begot the pot rather than the other way around. Dick

Yep. Stay in the stoned zone, Ed, and never come out.

This is good Ed.
Reads like a Psalm.
Someone once told me...
there is no problem you will ever face,
That you can't run away from.
Once every hour...It's 4:20 somewhere

Do What Matters Most by William Cottringer

This book summarizes life's ten toughest tests with ten passwords each to pass these tests. The current overload, speed of change and chaos are all summarized well enough to get to the Land of Simple on the other side quicker than usual.
