The great "out there". Not looking for anymore space in my apartment here...
Not very smart,
Is this 60 year old, reclusive, old fart,
But believing in aliens is for him a start,
Towards learning about himself; at least a small part…
To bend space and find parallel dimensions,
Sounds to be pretty cool, should be a future invention,
Reads, does he, of informal dialogue,
With regards to aliens visiting our planet,
These aliens don’t as of yet,
Offer to us on earth any threat…
A brilliant write Ed! The unknown has always intrigued me and the unseen too. I believe in ghosts and have heard them in some of the past places I have lived. Just because we can't see it doesn't mean its not there. Faith being the evidence of things hoped for the substance of things not seen. The wind shows us that....

We are shaping the future and it's in our grasp. Well, maybe not yours. One of them aliens out there will probably scoot down real soon and take you away for experimentation, kind of like what happens when you go into a hospital… And you know what that's like!
And I'm worried about the wormholes in my furniture…
All interesting concepts my friend. We don't always think of the implications of them though. Poetry has a role to play there also. I think it can capture the strangeness or the humor of such things. Thanks for the entertainment of your thoughts Ed. Bob

The Aliens have been here for quite awhile
If your neighbor is one, don’t be surprised
And if an Alien neighbor should knock on your door
Invite them in and offer them your Road Kill Stew
You better stock up on some ice cold beer, as well
If you don’t treat them right, they just might eat you
