Poem Artwork

On an easterly wind of change,
My life does of me pass by,
Like a movie I watch it from my deck,
I see things that make me say, “what the heck”,

From the west at far away range,
I smell death approaching,
On me in particular he is encroaching,
In his distant hold I can feel myself choking…

Mom ocean in the east reacts very strange,
She summons me to her shore,
She wants to keep death away for sure,
My death apparently prearranged,
She keeps me close till with death we can make another exchange…

The ocean in the east is keeping an eye on the wind from the west and holding the smell of death in check with her cleansing sunrise each day and fresh breeze.

Love ya!

Ma says that's not Death you smell, it's only B.O.

Use that Soap on a Rope that she sent you for Christmas, and you'll feel much better!

Death is a doorway opening, my friend; or so I have been told by others much wiser than I. I feel I can say this to you since I spent a very fine hour with my ex today as we discussed the birth of my first grandchild, may the Good Lord be willing. Love and peace to you,

Regis

I don't think death stalks so much as it just creeps up on us. But then that's the same thing, isn't it? Hold it off as long as you can. You haven't written your story yet, just a zillion poems(?).

Ron

Do What Matters Most by William Cottringer

This book summarizes life's ten toughest tests with ten passwords each to pass these tests. The current overload, speed of change and chaos are all summarized well enough to get to the Land of Simple on the other side quicker than usual.
