Is it REALLY such burden...?

Poem Artwork

I think not,
Alone I have been since I was a baby,
An only child then an adult that of it preferred,
I have known love, I think, and still do,
But upon exacting self-examination of late,
Still I am feeling kind of blue…

A relationship, I have been in involved,
Where it is leading, exactly, I know not,
Perhaps I should have a toke or two of pot,
But then again no, my mind works better,
When I feel that I am not just an old pot sot…

Is aloneness the same as loneliness,
Or is it the other way around,
These answers it seems I am towards bound,
How long will it take to figure it out,
Another I know not, as with my psyche,
I seem at present to be having a bout…

Alone and lonely two completely diff things; alone time is so needed sometimes.

If one is alone and has little external stimulation, like solitary confinement, I can see where it might lead to insanity. But then, there are many stories of those who have endured this kind of treatment for many years and persevered.

It's probably an individual thing. Some people feel lonely if they're not continually engaged with others. Whatever the case, it's probably good to strike a balance between between being gregarious and spending time alone.

I need my "me" time,
I need to be alone.
Don't bother calling,
I won't answer the phone.

Go out to the beach and meditate. Yes an animal for a pet is very helpful. Keep writing as this is a very big help also. Remember there is always someone out there with the same problem. Good luck.

Get a Dog!

“Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent.
To walk or sit with a dog on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden,
Where doing nothing was not boring--it was peace.”

DEAR KNUMB KNUTZ ...

Lois & Reg have already Splained the differences quite nicely.
Yew have too much "free time" where boredom sets in... pricely.

If ewe can't find gainful employment to keep you occupied ...
t'would suggest U get a Hobby, or do some kind of Volunteer work nearby ...

Helping others less fortunate might aid yew to realize ur value ...
and improve self-esteem ... Maybe ???

Horniness Begets Loneliness ...
Try more "Five-Finger" SEX ...

Five minutes later ... yew will be glad that ewe saved a whole bunch of money
by Not "Wining & Dining" some Gold-Digger Babe !!!

Don't like ur Aloneness ... or Boredom?
Do something Different ... Change some Habits ...

In fact ... try Wearing a Habit ...
U'd look Cute as a Big NUN !!!

Yer Welcome ... Cuz Sir Cur ... The One-Eth !!!

Aloneness is always your choice, you can always find someone by phone etc. Loneliness, isn't always cured, you can think about your love and all, but loneliness isn't easy to get out of. I've many friends, but still find alone time. Lonely time i do have much of too

To me, loneliness hurts and I try to stay away from it. "Aloneness" can be a choice. Sometimes (a lot of times in the past) I choose/chose to be alone. That is different and can be good I think. I have been feeling lonely since being with two of the most engaging women in my life (not counting Carol who has left us now -and I was not expecting that). I miss them hugely. If I could do something about the circumstances, I would. But I am first and foremost conscious of their well-being so, I just stay quiet... ...and love them. Take care, bro. Love and peace,

Regis
