Life seems to be winding down,
When I look in the mirror all I see is an old clown,
Thankfully for my neighbors when I sing I make no sound,
I guess for all intents & purposes I am to the afterlife bound…
I don’t eat good food,
And it seems I am always in a grumpy mood,
I don’t think I have ever been shrewd,
For the most part I think most others think me crude,
But to be honest they can just go & get screwed…
I (we) lost an angel from our choir today in the most horrific of circumstances so everything is in a daze right now. I know how you feel though. Love and peace,

ED, Don't be so hard on yourself...yes you and all of us are getting older but, your life isn't over.......
Good God, Gosh, Ed, i'm with you on this, think about the same about old age and my future also, of course i'm quite a bit older than you. Life is short, so live it to the fullest.
Take that last line to the bank Ed. You may be crude in some people's eyes, I have been called that also during my poetical life. We have had our disagreements, but buddy, you are aces with me.
