I didn’t write this to argue the point,
Nor do I herein try to tell you how to think,
This is how I believe, a belief system that “may” be quite old,
Or it may be quite new, either way it is right for me,
So on it I am quite sold…

Poem Artwork

The universe in all its perplexities,
Tends to fold back on itself,
It grows with each passing eon,
We start each life the lowest peon,
We live a life with many complexities…

Through all that we learn,
Our lives progress till no more can we learn,
Then we move onto our next life,
And start all over repeating past mistakes,
Until that time that we don’t have to do retakes…

Each life brings us more in tune,
With the fact that life is but a cartoon,
I’m not the first that has had this thought,
Though it is the first time that I have had this thought,
Against this, many millions of people have fought,
But until we accept it, our lives as such are for naught…

I believe we don't leave this Earth until we
learn the lessons that we need to learn...well
written, ED!

Always,

Deborah

Life is certainly a cartoon to a buffoon. And we are not even a knat's eyelash in an expanding or folding back universe. As for coming back in another life, only as molecules to be used by various life forms, kinda like fertilizer. ;-)

But you certainly have good intentions and you are not starting at zero in this life.

I have thought that way for a long time, Ed; you get no argument from me. Your verses make sense to me. Love and peace,

Regis

There is a lot of reality here, Ed, but like you told me tonight, that Santa or somebody(Jesus?) was standing next to you and he and you were toking (not your word) together. Some of that drizzled into the lines of this poem . . .
