Dedicated to Rufuz the Ruthlezz Dufuz.

Poem Artwork

He was great when he was still around,
He kept me centered & my sanity sound,
He & I did always on the beach play,
God, how I wish he didn’t have to go away…

He was not when with me vicious,
Also never was he ever malicious,
He protected his mom (Rene) on walks,
She and he had great one on one talks…

It’s been seven years and still for him I cry,
I don’t even do that for my parents, & I wonder why,
His name was Rufuz, the Ruthlezz Dufuz,
Always will my muppy be a part of me,
For he is me & I am he, and forever we will that be.

He certainly is missed by us as well. Rufus became often a part of your poetic experience here. Having lost my Jazz, I believe how much it hurt you when he had to leave.

Now I feel like crying. I look at my dog who is 8 years old, and I can't visualize a life without him. He gives me unconditional love. My daughters have moved out and are married, my husband is busy with work, but I have my best friend, Nounous to keep me company and happy. I can understand your pain and loss.

We can get pretty close to our animals and it is no surprise to cry when they die.

He will always be alive in your heart! He's playing with the other dogs over the Rainbow Bridge.

Love ya!

They don't call a dog man's best friend for nothing. Our pets do become a part of us, and we miss them when they're gone.

Nothing can compare with a man and dog relationship, Ed, but I know you understand.

True love, in whatever form or manner, is an indestructible treasure, and one to be cherished. I know that kind of love, it's not with a canine friend but it makes no difference. There is a hole in my soul without her... ...and from what you have written here, you know exactly what I mean. Love and peace,

Regis

Nothing comes between man and his true friend of a dog, not even death. He looks like a great dog in the picture and he's looking right at you like there is no one else. Touching. John
