a true mutt…

daddy says I am a true mutt,

I know I am a lot of things, but,

it seems he is mistaken regards a mutt,

my mom was a collie & my dad a Shepard,

just cause I am of mixed parentage,

doesn’t mean he should tell everyone,

it just seems wrong, I mean, he is of mixed parents too,

one was german, one irish, so what else is new?

maybe my parents also had other breeds in them,

but I know they loved me, just wish I could find them,

are they alive & do I have brothers and sisters, ahem,

just think, I could have a sister, incest is truly the best,

only one is all I need, but I would still be happy with the rest,

and to know my parents would truly be funny, a real jest…

so if anyone out there does genealogical work,

if you could look up my mom & dad, dog wise, as I love who I have,

my human folks are really the best,

Daddy is a little weird, but still I love him & that you can have no doubt,

even though he does besmirch my parentage, he is still just about,

the greatest daddy any doggy like me can have, again, no doubt…
