Man woman and child

Are oxes  two of the family cart 

Ploughing ,preparing the land that is home

Carrying the yolk on  necks locked as one

Birds build nests too, lion his den

But man’s offspring learns to absorb  more than  how to fly or  hunt?

The struggles and trials of this journey called life

When at times you are weary and cornered by strife

But the focus for well being of  young ones you begot

 The statute warning for people in wedlock be

Those are now  ready to lock horns with might

 The effect of it should not upon children be

 In the wake of  a war when matrimony  gone sour

 Life is quite bitter, not  all looks right

Trivial fights and spites ruin your sleep at  nights

Do not make haste to part ways and waste

All that you together built in  years,

With stars in the eyes and  glow in the  hearts,

The happy faces staring  from  family photos genuine

 Are times in life that cannot be erased,

Can  it be  a joke , if one fine morning you decide to part!

 The smile on your face is all but gone

Hold on, make peace, for this  can only  be won  by love

Fondly  again, make a peaceful haven

As the child is the father of the man they say

Has the right to be  together with father and mother.

So he may learn to be right while he is growing up bright
