From the book--WHAT IF BLACK MEN START KILLING COPS?--by Author READY T. LOVE

Poem Artwork

Someone’s Child will Die Today

The day is quiet all around

As the world listens as a

mother’s tears hit the ground.

The world is reciprocal,

poor decisions of the past

shorten the lives of the young

which should last.

Today, may start a new possibility

of change for goodwill, sad to say

someone child will be killed today

as the angry let out bullets that stray.

Who is it?  Who is it?  Or Who Child will it be?

Mine or yours, who knows. God’s will

not tell us, cause we lost his trust

through our sin and distrust.

What should we do,

hold our children and keep them inside

in fear of the cowards with guns

that ride by.

Why should our young children have to die

and bring a mother’s eyes tears of forever

goodbyes.

Violence has become our solution,

I will not accept, I know Jesus wept,

but what was the fear he kept?

Children should play and have fun

but someone’s child will be killed today,

so much violence, I hope the world

don’t think this is okay?

I can hear the screams of as love ones

find solace in religion, some revenge,

as the parent’s hurt, we are supposed to love,

when is enough, enough.

Well, a new day will emerge,

as God make his love real.

but someone’s child will be killed today,

a priceless down payment until we as a people

find peaceful communities where the children

can play.

Sorry to say, or to grasp, that someone’s

child will be shot and killed today,

let us hope, that our prayers find them,

as their souls travel down the road along

Heaven’s way.

They used to say that the gun was the "equalizer." I wonder what's equal about the way guns are often used these days. Everyone's out hunting for a solution. Shooting first and asking questions later. It's time we have a real discussion on what the real problem is.

Earth-centric Humanity at the Crossroads by Martin Treon

For the reasons I describe in this book, the world-wide suffering, death and extinction of humanity is very likely to occur, unless nonviolent and democratically determined radical and revolutionary personal and societal actions and changes are taken

A detailed study of the origins of the New Alienation. The author labels it normative or postmodern ennui and traces its rise to cultural power over the last two centuries.
