It takes a lot of energy and thinking to commence a project- a journey if you will
That university degree- that business
We always look at the beautiful end product but not the beginning of the journey
Behind that PhD is somebody who dared to begin
Behind that multi-million dollar estate is somebody who dared to begin
Behind that beautiful legacy is somebody who dared to begin
They never gave up!
I dare you to begin!

As one who has taken that journey to its limit and not been monetarily rewarded, I find that it is people, life and lessons along the way that are more important than any money anyone will ever gain. In higher education, philosophers are the least paid. While to achieve in athletics is a noble cause, athletic directors are paid the most for marketing. If we engage in war, whether it be real or imagined like sports competitions, the money will flow easily. But will those pursuing that path feel fulfilled of their contribution to the world?
