After meeting you at your cousin's party I am eager
I drove home without a thought that wasn't about you
During the moths I ived as a single man my crushed heart
built its own wall between it and the gender which had
brought about the split of my marriage and a life shattered
You indicated that we could catch a diner soon for a test
Should we like the results we are to see more of the other
with the hope that it might have an extended run for us
and if so I will then want then ask you two big questions
about our future to include how you rate our chances
First I will want to know if I am a man whom you
can love for a lifetime and who qualifies as a potential
father of your children - and to follow - your knowing
that marrying a man once wedded is that to be an issue
With thesse in my heart I am fragile so open it with care
Getting back on your feet after a break-up can be difficult. I am happy to see you are making some progress. If this poem isn't about you, then the spirit of it caught me up in my own naivete.
I wrote this novel several years ago, I self published and never had it to sell. I have decided to rewrite it and hope to get it published within a few months for people to be able to buy. I had a few copies and gave them to a few family members and
