FROM THE DEEP They come from the deep. They come when you sleep. On waves of ice and stone, They’ll burn you to the bone. Fire burns hot in the ice. The demons cut a deep slice. Stay far from the shore, Or they’ll ask for more.

Those demons from the deep recesses of memory seem to be a powerful influence on anyone close to the shore. They burst like volcanoes with fire that can cut through ice, create tsunamis, or emerge from the deep like the entire Hawaiian island chain of beautiful islands from deceptive source.
