The Can-Can? What you have written sounds like a wonderful cheering song for the yachting class. Or at least those that have a boat on the Seine. Doing more than just floating silently by, but singing their hearts out like London boys on the Thames.

A magnificent use of words that brought up many thoughts as I read.
