The beauty of the sultry song of many violins...
Gazing out on the stars tonight
I thought of you my friend
The beauty of the sultry song
Of many violins
In meditation we once sat
And listened to their song
Drinking from glasses cobalt blue
While lost with-in their awe
Glasses filled with crimson red
Wine made from off the vine
While listening to violins
That played the sweetest song
Lost with-in the silken blend
Brings back a different time
The sultry song of violins
Continues in my mind
Yes, what is it about the sound of a violin that is compounded and enhanced the more there are of them, especially if they are harmonising or even playing differing themes? I think it is truly the instrument of the nerves and soul and somehow manages to bring the two together, often in a very dramatic way. One can never be bland in our reactions to the sounds of a violin. And their music IS evocative and timeless. I love this captured moment with its sounds and descriptions which involve all of the other senses too! Memories are made of this... TY Kate xx
This is indeed very beautiful and memory filled Theresa...

Theresa, this is a shinning example of how the power and beauty of excellent poetry and memories mixing together help fulfill one of human kinds most precious needs my friend. It’s called tranquility. A magical marvelous musical moment for sure, Poet. Thank you for sharing your remarkable talent. Take care.
