Poem Artwork

Silence as my feet now hit soft white Berber carpet
Slipping into my old worn out cushy burgundy chair
I look forward past my desk, computer, cat and curtain
Into my favorite place through my window into wonder

Dancing snowflakes have met my gaze pirouetting there
Moose, horses, squirrels and parka covered men played
All have rehearsed their lives just outside this ledge
The world plays on for me at this window into wonder

Sighing deeply twittering birds dance happily to summer
Birch trees chattering leaves sing their beautiful song
Greenhouse paint continues to peal back green flakes
Sipping my chocolate drink I am happy at my personal

Window into wonder……
