Written in memory of my beloved grandmother, Merle Close-Stephens who passed away on May 24, 2005. The photograph was taken of she and I in December of 2004, in Muncie, IN. It was our last time together.
I don't know how I missed this, Michelle, but somehow I did. This is an absolutely beautiful, open and honest tribute to your Grandmother. I am so sorry for your loss, and so happy for you to have been blessed by her presence in your life for so many years. May her rest be peaceful and may your heart be strong until that time when you return to your eternal home and walk beside her again.

This is a sweet tribute but I know that like myself the real tribute will be in the act of being a grandmother youself and not only imitating but expounding on the loving principles and examples they set for us.
Michelle My prayers and sympathy are with you. Never anyone like a grandmother, I'm happy you had many years of good relationship to remember. This is a lovely tribute to her, and I love the way you ended it, for it is, just a so long for awhile.
