" Life is a bowl of cherries.....just reach out and pick them " .......................................................................... I'll be there always for you when you need me Its in my nature to lend a helping hand A problem shared, is a problem solved And serenity settles back in the mind Don't be afraid to air your feelings Thats what I'm here for, to care and console Your happiness is my happiness, my mom always taught me Be a giver son, with no thought of return People can tell, a rock from a plum And sincerity is the door to the soul Look the world straight in the eye And be honest in all your dealings Leave an indelible mark on everyone's hearts A loving legacy surpasses riches and honour Strive to help each person you come across One day you may pass them again, if you should fall The Good Samaritan shows Love and Compassion A precious gift he dispenses to all Copyright by Peter Paton 2005

Peter, spiritual director, if we were to dine together at the Christmas dinner table, I would want you to sit next to me, listening and talking as nature and Goddess/God intended us to do. What we do here on the Den is high, exacting art, what we do in our daily spirituality is embody our loved ones with respect. Your mother spoke such truth. Blessed Be.

Your loving mother was very wise, and I love this poem, Peter. And I wish that we all could be the 'soulmate' that you obviously are; I think the world would then truly be a much better place.
