" There was a star danced, and under that was I born.
--William Shakespeare
.....................................................................

I am safe, warm and secure within the sac of life

growing and expanding in the watery fluids

the cord of sustenance links me to the source

and my heartbeat is steady and strong

the gift of conception fertilized with love

the nucleus of development in complete perfection

I can move and kick my way around

inside this shady place, my temporary home

I know I am loved, for that's why I am here

created by the creator in wondrous form

my destiny is to be born, in due time

and that will be the moment, that I draw my first breath

I'll sing a joyous song, that a new day will dawn

when the unborn child will have their rights restored

and just remember before you pull that cord

that you were once here, where I reside

What if the seed was not fertilized with love?
What if it was feritilized with rape and hate?
What about my mummy?

I've lost many a babe. I know the shadow cast by their absence. I have learned the sacredness of life and this is a wondrous write, Peter. But what would you say to a nine-year old girl who was a victim of incest and pregnant? A chronically ill woman who would die carrying a child? Would you allow a woman's embryo growing in a fallopian tube to continue to grow and kill her? What of a mentally challenged woman victimized by rape? These are the questions that plague my mind. With respect...

((((Powerful sentiments, Peter )))

I feel extremly proud to say all life whether it's in the womb or born is SACRED.... All life feels, all life see's, all life dreams for a better life... We are the miracles God has made. My prayers have always been to support the life of the unborn, they are the most innocent ones. And so I pray a day comes soon where all life will be safe by law in every state. Your a true humanitarian for justice for God's children..Your rewards in Heaven are so many Peter...Keep teaching truth, justice, divinity and social causes for peace on mother earth.

Oh Lord Peter!

What a powerful call to remember the delicate fields from which we all sprung.

Bcause of these heinous acts, done in the name of mammon and free will, there will be a reckoning someday for all the wanton death of the innocents.

This was very touching and, I imagine, deeply felt in the penning.

Amen, Peter,

What a powerful, compelling poem! Thank you on behalf of the unborn, who have no voice in the matter. You and Michelle Kidwell can change the world with writes like this; well done! The last stanza particularly effective.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
