I am just lounging and relaxing in my back garden
resting on the recliner, with the warm sun rippling over me
deep within I am so content, knowing you are in my life
and I can touchdown, anytime I want too
the yellow sunflowers, reach up to the painted sky
as I reach out to you, with outstretched arms
and you know you are safe evermore
deep in the bosom of my eternal love
late summer winds rustle through the trees
whispering your name to me with such ease
I rest content, with my hand supporting my chin
a look of sweet contentment pours over me
as I savor and enjoy, the robins melodic song
life has been good to us all along
for it has brought you and I together
