Dark write of troubled thoughts...

Poem Artwork

Rape of the Willing Mind

on breeze of night she visits

succulent transparent shape

my smoke and mirror image

offered naked soul to rape

stripped heart vulnerability

love, hope, faith and trust

blindly led to the hour past

am I man of flesh and bone

or dwindling shadow cast…

The constant drip drip drip of a mundane existance gives rise to desires for something powerful to possess us, a deep poem Fee.

Indeed Fee, this is a very good question you raise in your chosen words. This poem really makes the reader think about our own mortality and what our purpose really is. Profound and surreal Fee, thank you for sharing.

May the Lord Bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and walk by your side. With love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your den sister Barbie

I like the mysterious feel about this poem, Fee. Some serious contemplations, maybe. Hugs,

Your words are so finely crafted, Fee, that I feel myself inside this darkness. Intense, even in its brevity. Fine write! ~Elizabeth

When we are vulnerable we take a chance at getting hurt. We have all been raped of the willing mind at some time in our lives and it sucks! Love, hope, faith and trust were taken away from you so you should be affected by the loss. Hopefully, it has passed and you realized you are a man of flesh and bone and never a dwindling shadow cast. Love, and peace always my friend. ~Chessly

Wow Felix, I don't know where this came from but I am glad it did as so many can relate to these words. This shows how so many feel when they have aloud their minds to be robbed, raped or stolen in some way.

Love ya face Cuz XOXOXOX, Rose

Your feeling is powerfully expressed in this one. I think we all have this feeling too at one time or another. This speaks to me as well. Well done, Fee!!

Perhaps regret? I like the idea of rape of the willing mind, not the title, but the actual words to the actual deed...the desire to be taken by some force, whether this is a vision or something that sticks in your mind from years ago, it's a powerful evocator, powerful enough that it's driven you to write about her...be well, Fee...

Love,
Sage
