Just a song I am working on...no chords to it yet.

Poem Artwork

Poor Man’s Wealth

It doesn’t matter if its raining hard outside
Long as I can see the sunshine in your eyes
And I don’t care if I don’t have a single dime
‘Cause I’m rich within the wonder of your sighs

Now I may not drive a big long Cadillac
An old pickup truck on an old dirt track

I don't own a mansion on a hill…now that’s a fact
And no designer clothes will you find on my back

Chorus

I don’t crave to take a fancy cruise upon the sea
Just your arms gently always holding me

Yea. sure it’d be nice someday to win a lottery
But I feel rich with you snuggled on my knee

Chorus

Some folks would say I should want more
A beach house maybe on a Malibu shore

But you know I’d be happy rich or poor
With you beside me, who could ask for more…

Chorus twice and fade....

Awe Fee - why do I have a gut feeling that one day I will hear this song on the radio and will remember the day you first wrote it. This is an excellent song representing all good and faithful men.

God Bless You,
Deborah

Who could ask for more indeed. Well done, Fee. I'd say this one is coming along nicely.
