Poem Artwork

Muted golds and passion's scarlet hues
Verdant greens and spiritual blues
Earthy browns which ground your place
Mysterious black in the realm of space
White expressing the purity of light
Orange evokes friendliness to our sight
Purples the domain of faith and royalty
Aqua blends blue-green liquidity of sea
Silver threads thin as air
denote the intellectual lair
of ideas that travel on Mercury's wings
The beautiful gifts of Muse it brings

*******

Within the warp and weave of life
there are many colors and textures
Each are unique with many variations
Yours are woven in this rich tapestry
On this loom we guide strings of yarn
from tangled thought to final creation
Lift the shuttle to add definition and pattern
and bring them forward to be included
A push on the treddle pulls them tight
But just so as to prevent constriction
For there are spaces between the threads
in which flow light and air
In these are lessons beyond our sight

I love this... and have a rumble somewhere deep inside that you have touched on something like this before - is this a favoured theme of yours? And you do it so very well. Totally love the concepts of the transforming and necessary "chinks" of light and space... like breathing. You are a gifted craftswoman with pen and loom! TY Kate xx

Excellent! The weavings are on a constant
view and they're static and move as our lives
interact and change. Great Lin! Much to think on.

These tapestries we weave that are our lives are sometimes so diverse it makes it hard to understand each other, but we should'nt lose track of those special spaces that exist in between the threads, or the good in us we sometimes hide. The trick is to weave loose enough to leave room for love, but tight enough to keep out hate. This is exceptional writing I can so relate! Pierre.

A beautiful kaleidescope of color and imagery unfolds in this salutory, spiritual lesson on life...
Yes..we are all unique and special in the eyes of God, each with our own vital role to play in the game of life...
And above and below are the metaphysical elements of divinity, that we all can tap into and utilize for the benefit of all !
You light up the Den tonight with this exemplary pen...:)
