Some times rays extend from the sky to earth. I always think of them as a pathway to heaven for the souls that have died that day.

There is an opening in heavens door, inviting earthly spirits to come forever more. On golden wings the the spirits soar toward the entrance to paradise through heavens door.�

I'm glad you reposted this one at this time: a meaningful rhyme that reminds me of how I enjoyed often those early morning sun-rays on Sunday morning trips to choir. Almost sounds cliche but TRUE! Always over the ocean at Daytona...
