Think this is great writing and thinking and can relate to it. Sometimes feel like I just must go to heaven to God and husband Tom and family members passed on. But have to wait til God needs me and calls me home. Luckily my husband went peacefully and quickly and I hope I do too. Poetry like yours helps and I enjoy it tremenously.
Love your name, Dallas. I hope you don't shoot off anytime soon as I'd like to read more of your poems. Great write.

I hear this one coming right from your guts Dallas, which works well for it's so telling of the person who's still famous for singing the tune.

I'm not much on poems, or Janis Joplin, but it seems to fit the way people are. Now a days many people just think of themselves and not others. You would be able to make a poem/song to anything that happens in our lives. Keep up the good work.
