The Loss

My wife lost two Christian relatives in one week

She suffered much sadness and pain

But she knew, her loss was their gain

I lost two secular friends last year

It was very sad to see them go

Where they went, I do not know

My best friend went to be with the Lord

He was a preacher and a missionary

For a while I felt so sad and I thought I was going insane

But then I remembered, my loss was indeed His gain!
