I am blessed to have a strong circle of Christian Friends

They provide fellowship and with them I can always confide

These are true brothers and sisters in Christ

Like strong angels they stand posted by my side

There are many folks affected by the economic down-turn

Many Christian friends provide them help and then go on their way

These fine folks don’t expect money or anything in return

But just a simple “Thank You and God Bless” goes a very long way

I have had many so called friends in my past life

Some could not be trusted and others just came and went

 Some faded away and others dwindled in times of strife

I also had so-called friends that would gladly take my last cent

Now I have Christian friends who I can trust and they do what is right

These friends are a blessing; they don’t walk in darkness but in the light

I don’t have to worry if I leave them the keys to my home or my car

I trust them because “genuine Christian friends” is what they really are
