I have had the privilege of serving the Lord with Love and Compassion Ministries for over 7 years. The workers who help this ministry receive no pay. Our reward comes from seeing angelic smiles and experiencing softened hearts through the love of Christ. This poem describes a only fraction about how Love and Compassion Ministries helps others in need. Won�t you come join us?

Love and Compassion Ministries (LCM) takes a loving Christian stand. They help the folks in need when it seems that no one else can! When folks are down and out they don’t need another kick. LCM offers them the help they need and they provide it very quick. They offer Christian guidance to folks coming out of jail. They help the homeless find food and shelter when all else fails. They help folks in trouble with drugs and alchol and folks who lost their way. They put them on a Christian program because the love of Jesus is the only way. They knit families back together by arranging transportation to almost anywhere. They visit youth in prisons; they show them Jesus loves them and how much He truly cares. If you want to make a positive difference you needn’t search any more. LCM is on the front lines helping out when many others close their doors. LCM does much with every dollar; they help folks in so many ways. Give others a bright new future by donating to LCM today! This is a good assessment of what sounds like a wonderful program. When we minister to "the least of these" we are ministering to Jesus Himself.
Where I volunteer, I also meet some who are very needy, and the need I see the most is the spiritual void in some folks' lives.
It's amazing to me that God can use ordinary people to touch lives with His love and hope, support and guidance.
