THEN:

 I was just a kid,

filled with ants in my pants,

every now and then,

I would give the girls a glance.

NOW:

I settled down,

met the girl of my dreams,

no longer with a for-longed frown,

I said “good-bye” to that silly clown!

THEN:

I dreamed of big cars,

that I wanted to drive,

I once hot-wired a Cadillac,

then my thoughts came alive!

NOW:

I drive a sporty Caddy.

My wife drives a Z.

We’re now having a ball,

in cars we once watched on TV!

THEN:

I lived in the projects of NY,

in a very crowded rat-race.

Then I listened to the Animals sing,

“We got to get out of this place!”

NOW:

After 30 years of marriage,

we live in the house of our dreams,

Coming home to an endless vacation,

hard to believe, but so it seems.

THEN:

In my dreams I’d see hope!

In my dreams I’d see light.

But I never imagined that,

things would be so right!

NOW:

I thank God for our love,

just about every day.

I love living this dream,

may it never go away. 

NOW: I pray, "May the love, peace and joy of our Lord bring YOU closer to the HOPES and TRUE LOVE of YOUR dreams!"
