I'm Italian and I love to hug my family and friends. These times are not normal for me, so when will it ever end?

Keep your distance - Six feet or more! Lines go around the block A new rule was made today Don’t go outside the door! Cars are flying by What’s the rush? Most don’t have to work Quiet noise in the markets, a silent world; a kind-of a hush Sleeping thoughout the day Staying up with the cats at night My pet’s looking strange to me Trying to be kind-a normal while something’s just not right Watching way too much news Seeing mask of all sizes and shapes Party Sam is singing the blues Eating healthy, drinking red grapes Self-refection of who I am So, what is the purpose of it all? Thinking more about life itself Will there be a repeat of this next Fall? Am I where I want to be? Got time to think about this life Time to think of the life that is to be Quality time to spend with my wife Hoping things will improve Somehow it will only get better A glimmer of hope is very good news Just remember, we’re all in this together... I think we are staying far too long at home everyday even our cats begin to wonder why. I swear I can hear them talk to each other, asking each other how do they stay social distancing with us for we are crashing into their serene world, making them lose their sleep.

I just hope we don't open things up to quickly, and we experience a 2nd or 3rd wave of this virus like what happened in the pandemic of 1918-1919, when the 2nd and 3rd wave proved to be more deadly than the 1st. Until we're past this, Air hugs will work.

So true, my far away on the eastern coast friend.... Things here, on the far western coast, at least for my wonderful wife and myself are about the same... except we are dogie people and, seemingly you are a pussy person... Uh, I mean the furry four legged kind. So, it appears that eating the red grape kind of food is keeping you well... So be it... Let it remain so.
