Whe asked ourselves why the lamb? that innocent little thing that get lost because, of free will, gets away from the Sheapherds care...
The Shepherd came down the mountain,
but he was missing just a lamb,
that had heard a wolf proposal to come
along, be his friend, only…“if you want”
The Shepherd went across the river,
and he missed just another lamb,
that heard a crocs proposal to teach him
how to swim, but only…“if you want”
The Shepherd was out the forest,
and he was missing, yet another lamb,
that followed an hungry bear telling him
where to get honey, only…“if you want”
The Shepherd stopped, faced his flock and said,
“you have been following me, called the Lamb,
and of own will, some of you wandered out,
but it’s only through me you can see my Father,
and that will be, only…if you want”
"... only ... if you want" A powerful reminder that God gave us free will, how we choose to use it - only you can decide 'if you WANT!' what He has to offer.
Yes Georg, it is our choice, we as human beings excercising our free will to accept or reject the Saviors offer. I accepted Him when I was six years old. And even though I was a prodigal for many years He never forgot about me and brought me back into the fold - and here I'll stay. Blessings to you fine gentleman and poet ...

Yes, Georg, Free will is the basis to all things. We go with free will, we make our life choices with free will, so why is it that there are so many people still feeling like someone owns them, or owes them, or doesn't take responsibility for their decisions...just some questions for thought, my friend. I love this poem, such a wonderful message.
