In the mean time e-mail letters, petitions, comments, character vouch, writer's outrage should be posted on Abdi-Noor as messages until he gives us an address to send regular mail postcards and letters.

Dedicate to the Somali Poet and Author Abdi-Noor Mohamed


Who will not vouch for a dear friend
that’s inside Abdi-Noor Mohamed
from Somalia that very gentle man
seeking refuge among the gentlemen
that never suffered hunger or wars,
and never been stabbed by a bayonet.

For being just a dark skinned writer
which criticized a government puppet
that let his own people die in sickness
they want him to take back all he said,
to come back to their own made chaos,
because they have his family as hostage.

In Sweden Abdi-Noor is now, waiting,
for someone to understand and regret
a silence from a noble country confronted
with many thousands Somali slaughtered,
because there is no gushing oil, just a
destitute humanity facing their final sunset.

We, that so-called “democratic” people,
how can so rapidly and off hand forget
the sorrow that filled our collective hearts
when those Auschwitz horror doors opened,
get so tangled in that bureaucratic red tape
that we are willing to send a man to his death?

Mr. Abdi-Noor Mohamed is not only a friend
but a human being in Sweden seeking respect.
