I told a friend of mine a few days ago that some of us wandering on this wretched world are the children of lesser gods, that have paid with pain and solitude for an agonizing span of time for the crimes that our "parents" committed and condoned that others did it to us as well.
Time, for some, is too short because they wish to live forever, for the ones in the emotional dungeons it already has been too long.

Poem Artwork

I said
when running out of words
start writing everything down
until the last remaining though.

I painted,
with all the darkest tones,
forgetting happy colors
giving a face to one storm.

I carved,
a sculpture made of nothing,
one begging extended hand
towards two faces without a body.

I say,
I will never run out of words,
or have a forgiving smile
when writing of an hateful soul,

and paint,
a future with the brightest color,
forgetting winter’s dead sparrows
or yellow leaves from last autumn,

and carve
from the heart of the hardest stone,
with the sharpest of all chisels,
the sculpture of the coldest mother.

TO FORGET YESTERDAYS DEAD SPARROWS...TO PAINT OF TOMORROWS BRIGHTNESS...TO WRITE OF TODAYS STRUGGLES....YOU ARE RESPONDING QUITE WELL TO YOUR 'CALLING' THROUGH THE BEAUTIFUL GIFTS THAT HE HAS PLACED IN YOU. BLESSINGS. JOYCE

This shows the many faces of life and the way a poet portrays them with his fine artisitc works. Great work, George.

Wow, Georg! What a drab world your words envision. What dark shadows lay within the writer's heart. The words you write portray a deep sorrow, that is not only understood, but felt also.
Your friend, Mark.

Living on this corrupt planet is a mysterious journey, rife with the unexpected and challenging, an experience that effectively and relentlessly tests every ounce of what we've been given. It is good when the gifts that God has blessed us with we use to bless others with. A crown awaits you Edvard when your job here is completed. An honestly and poignantly conceived piece.
Blessings ...

An interestingly written piece George...one where we can delve into the philosophical depth of the mind vying to reflect upon its very existence, or maybe we might just try to absorb the authors note seeking to find the answer of our own existence...

yeah...maybe it is a bit to early to digest...

hah!!

nice work my friend...
