In everything (now) an
opposing persistent force
pushes back relentlessly at us.
Staunchly convincing influences,
unbending,
unwavering,
half-truth assuredness,
correctly vomiting two sides of
the same coin, simultaneously caught
betwixt shades of numbness, as mindless
tyranny extrapolates societal parity…
.
As an enchantment:
How many biased writers
weaponize their quills, trouncing
what others believe, stabbing at the
reader/listener with strange theories,
Philistines and fabulists
seeking acolytes who
love insane notions,
promoting sssELF
instead of art,
instead of love,
instead of thought,
instead of originality,
instead of TRUTH?
Vainglorious demagogues,
Driven by irrational enthusiasm,
vying for attention, seeking recognition,
a dais above
all who
legitimize
discourse of
puppet innuendos
and never-ending half-truths…
.
What coaxing verisimilitude
goes forth testing, defying, or
demeaning all we hold dear?
FEW AGREE ANYMORE,
OR SEE
EYE to EYE
ON ANYTHING…
Ruinous devolution,
sifting each house divided,
accepting no less than decadent
thought, and mystical depravities…
.
So…
.
Where will humanity turn now?
And to whom shall they cry out?
SELF?
I THINK NOT!
Look what ego is
doing to the planet…
Taxing the realm of spirit
in shades of judgement,
seeking significance
With swaying ideologies that
overshadow all that is held sacred…
.
Who criticizes
honest expressions
with such outspokenness?
Where does true wisdom call out?
And to whom does intelligence
sing her melodies?
In valleys and knolls
Wisdom takes a stand,
dwelling with prudence
knowledge and discernment,
in glimpses and under-shadings,
life-giving-light, inspired thoughts,
cogent arguments, momentarily forthcoming
to something far greater than ephemeral cogitation…
.
So…
once again…
where shall we turn then,
and to whom shall we cry out?

After all, this is a free speech country. You are allowed to have your own free speech as long as you don't jump into another's free speech to exercise your own belief in opposition. Some people have the tendency to think that what they believe is right and others are wrong or foolish. I totally resent that.

instead of TRUTH…
We have created so many replacements for authenticity that it has become harder to shuck the duplicity of this world,
I root for the above list, and pray that truth reigns if not in a social level then at least in our personal level. We ought to set the bar high for ourselves and never stoop as low as the limbo bar.

I just returned from an experience where I was able to talk with people, over 30 people and their families, that generally were not of my political or religious inclination: most were Christian and Republican. They immediately saw my "infirmity," as something of a religious either empowerment or God-given challenge and proceeded to praise me for overcoming it by writing 10 books and graciously wanting to read them. They were drawn to me in spite of our differences and we had healthy conversations.
Surveys have found that most Americans, like you and me, are middle-of-the-road and not drawn into extremes that most pundits and amateur journalists propagate. Most people believe in facts unless they are strong "believers," who tend to believe their particular ideology over the facts. And, it is easy to check facts on the Internet rather than just believe them because they appear In print on a website or in an email. Half-truths and falsehoods are easy to smell.
