Your Boneyard...

Acrostic Poetry. When you want something you've never had, you have to do something you've never done.

Poem Artwork
Yes … good things happen unexpectedly, and
Often touch those places one can have hidden
Underneath all the devised logic and wounds in the
Repositories of miseries that inhabit the heart… But,
.
Before you quit hoping for what is original,
Over and above what arbitrarily pan-handles
Near the ardently hardened parts of the soul,
Expect exceptional in colors never experienced
Yet. Never visualized, yet. Never imagined, yet…
And when something does creep up that leaves you
Roiled with all the itching's of personal inadequacies,
Delve past it into the Light of creative possibility....

“No matter how hopeless or bleak things appear, the moment always comes when suddenly our spirit revives, and hope is reborn. That is why we must never give up.” Daisaku Ikeda

INDEED, THOUGH THAT BONEYARD MAY BE WAIST DEEP, FILLED WITH THE DECAY OF ACCUMULATED DISCOURAGEMENT AND LACK OF CONFIDENCE, GOD CAN AND WILL GUIDE, BRINGING TO FRUITION ALL HE HAS MANDATED SHOULD BE...IF...WE TRUST HIM AND BELIEVE, AMEN. INSPIRATIONAL AND THANK YOU, RICHARD. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

Haven't done an acrostic for a long time, but you are a master with this one. Some great advice we also should follow. Becoming an original above all others requires a lot of effort and exceptional luck.

I'm interested in the source of your image. It may be famous. It looks like van Gogh, but I'm not an art connoisseur, so I don't know whose work it is.

A interesting acrostic that moves from hurt toward possibility. I like how you guide the reader past the ‘repositories of miseries’ into a space where originality and hope can surface again. A quiet but meaningful encouragement.

Very astute and wise observation put into free verse for all to read and hopefully point themselves in your premise's direction. I, for one, understand your thoughts well, having maintained a positive attitude through all the personal and object disappoinments I've created largely by myself. To know personally that "good things happen unexpectedly" is of particular note for me, as I've been able to convert the hurts of life into the realization that the pleasures can, and often do, happen unexpectedly. I've spent the past 5 years massaging that thought and it works. Many thanks for your perseptive understanding in this poem of wisdom.
