Minimalism…
.
Bare locution,
Treasured words
Unearth the heart
.
A letter
Unopened,
Thirsty for your words
.
On quiet mornings
A crows noisy foraging
Disrupts the stillness
.
A flash of lightning…
But what I saw as faces
Were just cottontails
.
Troubling pandemic
Exposes unseen problems,
Inclement feelings
.
Storm rages outside
Inside, the hearth warms the soul
Juxtaposition
.
Leaves float on the breeze
Nature loves simplicity
A perfect balance
.
Leaves on the water,
(Once attached to the Maple)
Float now with shadows
.
The oneness of two
Dreamers drifting in currents-
Whispering secrets
.
If you could see
Without your eyes,
Would I be there?
.
Securely you dream
In fields of golden flowers-
Clutching your bonnet.
.
Mono, multiple,
Octo, Deca-syllabic,
This free expression…

Between the Cracks - A Monumental Journey Series
An unopened letter should be thirsty for your eyes.
Nature loves complexity and grows more complex as it evolves. The simplicity is in the eye of the beholder, only seeing the surface of what lies embedded beneath.
