Life is full of good times and bad.
The good times are memories we are all glad we had.
But, what of the times that are dismal and gray?
It seems the sun does not shine for us that day.
The problem may be Cancer, a heart attack or the flu.
Even during these times there is someone standing near you.
Those bad times seem to come more often as we get older
But if we pay attention we can still feel his hand on our shoulder.
“I’ll give you strength,” he is saying. “I’ll walk the walk with you.
I will not leave you side or let go for my word is true .”
His voice is comforting. His hand is strong yet as he gently guides me.
One day I will walk by his side where I will glorify him through eternity.
