Motor bating, Motivating

Every kid loves the snow.

Poem Artwork

Out of a sky of gray and white

There comes a familiar, glorious sight.

Motor bating, motivating from the sky come flakes

That is floating lazily through the air for goodness sakes

Snow drifts lazily along powered by the air

It twirls and dances without a care.

Soon it will have covered the ground

There will be no child left with a frown.

Let’s grab our sleds and find a hill to ride.

Bundle up, let’s go outside.

It’s snowing, friends.  It’s snowing white

The hillsides are gleaming with flakes so bright.

Let’s enjoy the snow as long as it can stay

Until the warm sun melts it away.

To me, snow has always held a magical quality. I have a daughter who feels just the same way. Your poem is familiar to me in a wonderful way. Thank you for sharing this gift, Lew. Love and peace to you sprinkled with snowflakes,

Regis
