The Earth was barren and without form and God said this cannot be

So he started to work and created the land and parted it by the sea

God made the air and with it the wind and caused the rain to fall

He then created man and beast and gave man dominion over all

God created a beautiful garden and placed man there, where he could live

 “I give you authority over all this land,” said God “But you must heed my word”

“Eat not of the tree in the center of the garden; obey for I am your Lord”

Man broke the commandment of the Lord, of the forbidden fruit he did partake

He was thus banished from the sacred garden as punishment for his mistake

We must ask ourselves a question.  Have we ever disobeyed Gods’ command?

If we fail to love, forgive or help a brother, we provoke God to reprimand?

For all have sinned and come short of Gods’ glory and share the fault of Adam

Therefore we each come before God to ask forgiveness with a resounding amen!
