Poem Artwork

A day in late October brings with it the autumn rain

The raindrops saturate the land and trees and leaves move in refrain

They seem to shiver as they are drenched by the rains saturation

The wet gleam it leaves simply adds to the leaves colorful combination

The cool autumn air has created leaves that redden, flush and change

To a variety of colors including yellows and browns blended in a glorious range

The rain continues to fall and the leaves dance and carry on their colorful show

The gray skies above send rain to the mountains and valleys below

It is October and the temperature drops as winter draws near

And rain will be replaced by snow and we will watch ice cycles appear

This is a wonderful poem about the beauty that autumn bestows on us Lew. The picture is perfect too.
