I felt I really wanted to post something today but somehow I could not put my thoughts in order. So, I decided to share that with you. This is what came out.

Poem Artwork

I awoke this morning already feeling done-in

As the day wore on my weariness would not transcend
I tried to write but somehow I found I could not concentrate
Though I tried and I tried I could not accumulate the capacity to deliberate
I found that all my thoughts simply strayed and wandered
I tried to put them together collectively but when finished I simply had blundered
I finally decided that today was not a day to tackle all of life’s many mysteries
The future is not yet upon us and like the others; planet Mother Earth has one of many histories
So I just sat back and relaxed before I again picked up my pen
Sometimes one must simply lighten-up and allow the door to open and the mysteries will come in.
