Bawdy Stories & A Game Of Bridge
“Would you care for a game of bridge?” she said,
“I think I still have it in my head
how I won the last three.
Would you like to
play again
with me?”
What could I say? it was Christmas day
and I needed to spoil my Poodle.
So we had another game
and it ended the same
as I hung my head
in shame.
Then she yawned and continued to sit down
at the dinning room table and said
with a frown,“ where's my libation?
Pink bubbles bring
me fascination.”
After I poured her a couple of mixed drinks
she begins to tell me what she thinks
or the current political situation
she says,” I'm an independent
you see, but it seems to me
this is a f'd up nation.”
“Lets forget about it all, pour me another tall
Bahama mama alcoholic libation.”
She was a bit buzzed by then
her bawdy stories begin
and prove to be a
real sensation.
“Did you hear about Antoinette the Poodle next door?
I heard she's been acting like a real wh?e
she ran away from home last week
and this I hate to even speak,
got hooked up with
a Labrador!”
and then she loudly snorted, “Ha Ha, Ho Ho!
She's such a snooty bitch you'd never know
that she likes her lovers tall and sleek
not at all curly and cute
like my Pierre La Belle
up the street.”
By this time she was falling off her seat
but the bawdy stories kept coming
and twice I had to repeat
“Darlin it's time now to
put away the cards
and go to sleep.”
Her sweet voice trails off in a few more ho ho ho's
until it turned to snores as to sleep she goes.
So if you have a beautiful Poodle
even on Merry Christmas day
don't listen to bawdy stories
and put the cards away.
